EAST BETHEL BOOSTER DAY
EAST BETHEL, MINNESOTA

Saturday, July 18, 2009 was East Bethel Booster Day in East Bethel, Minnesota.  Tony & Kim Karsnia (East Bethel residents), Joe & Trudy Klein and Gene Rafferty all participated in the parade and the car show following the parade, as well as the midway, food, and great (but cool) weather for the middle of July.  Special thanks to Kim Karsnia for being on the parade sidelines to take photographs!

Joe & Trudy Klein's 1972 Miller-Meteor Cadillac Volunteer Ambulance, Gene Rafferty's 1969 Superior Cadillac Rescuer and Tony & Kim Karsnia's 1973 Superior Cadillac Crown Sovereign Combination line up for the parade. Tony's Superior Combination, dressed for Ambulance duty, has the rare option of dual beacon-rays to grab even more attention.
The two young ladies asked to be photographed in front of these "cool cars."  Interestingly, they were on the Princeton, MN float, and were photographed with Joe & Trudy's Ambulance.  Joe & Trudy live in Princeton. Gene's having a good time!
The pack of professional cars in the parade. Joe & Trudy's ambulance displays its unique paint theme and period-correct lettering.
A blip of the Federal Q siren excites the kids along the route. Tony is having a great time, too!
Gene's big Superior Ambulance, lights blazing, reminds us of what ambulances used to be like. The three professional cars in the East Bethel Booster Day Car Show.
