2005
SPRING FLING WEEKEND
ST. PAUL, MINNESOA

While the weather was adequate for our annual May Spring Fling event, it wasn't spectacular.  Fortunately all these professional cars made up for the gloom!

Tony Karsnia's 1978 Miller-Meteor Cadillac Classic Limousine Duplex, followed by Kevin Anglin's 1981 S&S Cadillac Victoria, Gene Rafferty's 1976 Cadillac Fleetwood Seventy-Five, Patrick Martin's 1985 Bayliff Packard and others at the host hotel in Roseville, MN.
The lineup for display at the Technical College on Saturday.
Paul Saether's silver 1969 Superior Cadillac Sovereign is open for visitors!
Tony Karsnia's 1978 M-M Cadillac Duplex is shown to the left of Jeff Stanton's 1974 Miller Meteor Cadillac Criterion ambulance.
1964 M-M Cadillac Classic Limousine Duplex, 1972 Cotner/Bevington Oldsmobile, 1976 M-M Cadillac Lifeliner and 1969 Superior Cadillac Ambulances, all looking like they're ready for service.

There were plenty of other cars there, too, including a few Packards.  Two are pictured to the left of Patrick Martin's 1985 Bayliff Packard combination.

Jeff Stanton's 1974 M-M Cadillac Criterion, Chuck Kramer's 1979 Miller Meteor Cadillac Landau combination, Andy Anderson's silver and black 1985 S&S Cadillac Victoria and John Royark's black 1985 Superior Cadillac Sovereign.
The "business end" of the ambulances.

Mike Linn's 1964 Miller-Meteor Cadillac Classic Limousine Duplex dominates the foreground as Northland PCS members discuss the cars and chilly weather next to Jon Wurm's 1972 C/B Oldsmobile ambulance.
A spectacular 1978 Miller-Meteor Cadillac Classic Limousine Duplex entices prospective members with signage.  Tony Karsnia owns this beauty.  Notice the dual spotlights and Federal beacon-ray on top.
1969 Superior Cadillac Ambulance.  Notice the bullet lights flared into the high top of this ambulance.
Ambulances could be outfitted with many different light configurations.  Here is Jon Wurm's 1976 Miller-Meteor Cadillac Lifeliner with "ditch lights" on the side of the top, dual beacon rays on top, tunnel lights facing the front, and dual siren speakers.  This car was designed to be seen and heard!
Another from the Jon Wurm collection:  This time a 1972 Cotner-Bevington Oldsmobile high top amblance with a unique paint scheme and enough lighting to drain any alternator!
Mike Linn's 1964 Miller-Meteor Cadillac Classic Limousine Duplex outfitted as an ambulance with ambulance signs in the windows and dual red beacon ray lights on top.
Jeff Stanton's 1974 Miller-Meteor Cadillac Criterion ambulance shows off its massive 500 cid powerplant.
Paul Saether of Blanchardville, WI, travels to PCS shows across the midwest in this stunning 1969 Superior Cadillac Sovereign combination.  It looks even better than it did on the day of its delivery in 1969.
Kevin Anglin's 1981 S&S Cadillac S&S Victoria hearse is a safe resting place for a few minutes for Kevin's wife, Angie.
Attracting attention where ever it goes is Patrick Martin's 1985 Bayliff Packard combination coach.  There were only two of these built, and Patrick is the perfect caretaker for this rare beauty.
Posed together for the first time in front of the historic St. John's Evangelical Kirche are Patrick Martin's 1985 Bayliff Packard Combination and Chuck Kramer's 1979 Miller-Meteor Cadillac landau combination.
1969 Superiors:  On the left is a 1969 Superior Cadillac high top ambulance and its running mate is a 1969 Superior Cadillac limousine style combination.

Professional Cars,
All in a row.
Looking spectacular,
For the show.

At the other end of the line is a 1959 Cadillac Fleetwood Seventy-Five limousine.
Jeff Stanton's 1974 Miller-Meteor Criterion Ambulance proudly shows off its exterior, interior, and engine compartment at Sunday's show at the state fair grounds.
Northland PCS Members Kevin Kocur and Mike Linn look over some of the photographs on display.
A perfect calendar shot if there ever was one!  Gene Rafferty's 1976 Cadillac Fleetwood Seventy-Five Landau Limousine.
Tony Karsnia's 1978 Miller-Meteor Cadillac doubles as a recruitment tool with information galore!
