Preserving the World's Professional Car History™ since 1989. |
~ Click the thumbnail photographs for the larger version ~ These pictures of the 2009 S&S Cadillac Imperial were taken by faithful Northlander John Baines at the 2008 National Funeral Directors Convention in Orlando, Florida in October, 2008. Obviously a near-twin to Superior's Cadillac Premier (see below), this white diamond painted S&S features limousine styling in addition to a crown band, smooth painted top, flag staff mounts, chrome wheels, lower chrome side molding, pop-up urn enclave, and S&S's traditional coach lamps. One thing you may notice immediately if you compare the actual car pictured here to the one in S&S's flyer is that the design and shape of the rear ledge-board (between the floor and the side-wall of the inside of the casket compartment) is vastly different. Many of you have probably seen the artist's renderings of the all-new 2009 Superior Cadillac Premier hearse, but Northlander John Baines, wanted to give us a "first look" at a REAL one. Notice how the coach features a rounded rear shape, smooth top, new "C" pillar design, lift-gate type rear loading door, and interior urn enclave. Again, special thanks to John Baines for these pictures! THE
